I enjoy full flavored cigars, LFD double, any Don Pepin, 601 blue, etc......

Anyone tried these and able to provide some insight?

Thanks

Start out graham cracker then pick up from there, great stick for the $ but they're not as strong to me as advertised.

Nicely blended cigar, not very complex but rich flavors. Like ZRX said, not as full-bodied (strong) as touted to be.

This is probably my favorite 601 (then Blue). It's got some strength..maybe not like a Patel Bros or a Camel Red but it's noticeable. I agree that it isn't too complex but I do like what it has to offer.

I'd be curious to know if these really are Pepin-made boxes or the new production coming out of La Zona, Erik's new factory.

Eh, I figured so...

I did pull out a couple of these the other weekend I picked up during an event when they first released them...pretty tasty after being buried for a while.

Hey, K9biker, whatsup my noob? Good to see you here...don't be a stranger, bro. The 601 La Bomba is one of my favorite cigars, with the Nuclear my preferred vitola. The first few I smoked were very strong and made me woozy and light-headed. They don't have quite that effect anymore, but neither do other cigars, like the LHC Oscuro Fuerte, that kicked my azz in the past. Guess I'm getting acclimated to strong tobacco. Pepper and spice bombs to start, the La Bomba mellows out with bready, earthy, spicy, sweet notes. Great cigar for the money.

I've got a few boxes, and the seals say "My Father Cigars, handmade by the Garcia Family". Another label shows they are distributed by Espinosa y Ortega, Made in Esteli Nicaragua. They debuted in the summer of 2011. Hope that helps.
