I haven't had one in a while, so I guess I was due. Went out to the smoke room to do some reading last night with a EPC New Wave. After about 5 minutes of reading, I look down and the thing is split wide open like a Gurkha, binder and all. Toss it, and light up an Aurora 107. I go back to reading. About a ½" in, I look down and the cigar looks like it's just been through a Freddie Kruger attack. The wrapper had over a dozen splits in all different directions and was completely peeling off. I know a bud, who would peel the wrapper and smoke the binder, but I have no time to waste on a bad cigar. Tossed. Third times a charm, right? Light up a Cubao Torp. Perfect burn to the nub. Finally.

Actually Howard, it was the one you sent me. I've seen one, two or three splits on a wrapper, but this one had over a dozen.

HA, HA. The regulars here know I like my sticks in the low 60s, high 50s. RH too high is NEVER a problem with my cigars (except OTT).

what would you say the difference is in your preferred humidity VS say mid 60's i have 65% beads in both mine and the big one usually stays around high 50's-low 60's my little one stays right on point, man that Mastro de Pja is an excellent humi!

just wondering if i am missing out on something.
