It was news to us when we got a call about it today. I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is NOT what our contract with Split Rock states. Its our belief that just one individual up there was telling people this because we've only heard it from a few people. If all of their reservations people were saying that, our phones would have blown up. We're trying to get in touch with the Reservations people to get it straightened out.

I'm sorry ray3rd. We'll see what we can do but this part of it is not in our control.

We will be running a shuttle bus from all of the other locations near Split Rock to CigarFest all day, both days. So you can eat, drink and be merry without worrying about finding parking or driving to another hotel.

All the cool kids will be there doing kegstands and smoking their sticks.

I stayed at the best western a few years back for the fest. Just be careful how much you drink at the festivities...the ride back to the hotel can be a bitch lol

When we finally got through to them, they told us that there was in fact a 2-night minimum and always was. It my guess that the new management is now enforcing it. I'm not sure if our contact was reviewed but it will be in the future. But we've been told they're sold out now anyway.
