The one thing I would like to see is an all inclusive Cigarfest ticket. One stop shopping so to speak. One transaction to get you in to the event, get your shirt and hat. A suite at the Split Rock Resort and and Bracelet or some sort of ID thing for meals and drinks while at the resort and Cigarfest related events. Maybe even throw in a few extra exclusives such as tours of all three stores and a warehouse or something.

I know I would love to fork over some dough to have all that hassle taken care of. If there were a couple dozen packages like this and I could see me paying a vacations worth of money for a cigar vacation like this.

I wonder if I'm the only one that thinks like this?

Hehe....actually an all inclusive package could be a very good idea or an event like this.

I'm not saying do away with anything they are already doing but adding this as an option for a lazy guy who would rather just make one phone call/ bid/ transaction. One size doesn't fit all but one call could take care of it all and I'd dial it.

So I guess you weren't at the Rocky Patel party at bench warmers a couple years ago.....

Great idea, the " All Inclusive" deal.

Not for me, but I'm sure there are people around the country that would JUMP on it.

For some reason, I'm reminded of the first time we met at CFest, 4 or 5 years ago.

Trying to look for the "short fat bald guy", (me), or the "big fat bald guy ", (you), amongst of the thousands of BOTL's attending the event, was out of the question, as I just described 80% of the guys there, ( [sarcasm] ) , so we decided to call each other when we were waiting to enter the Fest. I found myself a nice comfortable bench, just outside the building, and waited for you to call. Not long after, my cellphone rang and the conversation went something like this . . .

"Hello, John ? This is Jamie. "

"Hey, Jamie, how ya doin'? Where are you at ?"

"Turn around, John !"

I turned and there you were, standing in line no more than 10 feet from where I was sitting.

Looking forward to seeing again this year.

As to your idea, I wouldn't be surprised if that hasn't been discussed. I don't know that its possible with the Fest the way it is now, but who knows? Maybe sometime in the future....

So a little brown nosing is usually better received than a "listen b!tch" and I'll take the heat for it. If it is considered and not possible then no harm. But if it is considered and possible and I get to be first in line, then Ive set out to do what I wanted.

I'll be sure to say hi again Trish and may come bearing gifts. And as for the kind words I have nothing bad to say about CI, CBid, CFest and all the folks I have met through, from and at ! Still the best in the business....
