So the weather went from crappy to gorgeous in 45 minutes here today....happens this time of year.
I go to the deck and fire up an E.P Carillo Club 52 (a favorite morning/daytime smoke).
I v-cut it, light it and settle down with a Guiness.
About 1 inch in, I'm getting tar in one corner of the v-cut, and it's pizzing me off, leaving that nasty taste in my mouth no matter how hard I try to avoid it when puffing.
I consider going down stairs and re-clipping the cigar......but I'm a lazy bassturd, and the sun is shining.....
Then I look at my glass of Guiness, complete with 1/4 inch of tasty foam at the top.....and I get this weird idea.
I dip the tip of my index finger in the foam, and then bring it to the v-cut in the head of the cigar, and lay in about one good size drop of foam in the v-cut, spread it out, and the cigar sucks it up. Waited about 20-30 seconds, and the next puff was absolutely delicious......I swear if amplified that cigar's flavors.
I ended up doing it 3 or 4 more times for the remainder of the smoke (about every inch or so).....no more tar taste at all.
Creamy goodness the rest of the way.
I might try it again, even if there's no tar!
