OK - so I have been a lurker for a while.

Have bid here and purchased from the MShip.

Received today - The MOW Anthology, Obsidian Perfecto and STK Lancero.

Hey - they caught my eye and why not bid....

Which should I try first outta 'da box (I'm near Chicago - so use the Chicago accent)?

Paul -

Should have followed your advise.

The Obsidian started with a VERY strong tobacco and pepper flavor. It also seems VERY light in the hand. Should be a quick smoke 🤦 .

Will update as things go along.

So - second third - better. The "lightness - weight" is not as big of an issue as the flavors develop. Better now - coco - ceadar - smooth. If it was not better by now I would have killed it.

I got that the other day, paul. It honestly reminded me of a gas station cigar. It was taken care of, sat in my cedar humi for a month or so, perfect humidity the whole time. I pulled it out, expecting greatness, or at least some enjoyment...Nada. I really had high hopes for it, so I gave it its fair shake. Every draw was more disappointing than the last. I got about an inch and a half into it, and Nick asked to see the cigar. Thinking he was going to take a look at it, or maybe smell the smoke and give it back, I handed it off to him. He plopped it right down into our ammo can and said, "Ok...do you want a different one now?"

It's probably a good thing that he did that, because with all the anticipation of the cigar, I probably would have smoked it all the way down (not enjoying it at all), just hoping that it would turn into something fantastic. If it's not your cup of tea...it's just not your cup of tea. Dump it, and grab something else. Or, if you're really attached to it, have someone else dump it for you.

for $2 a pop, you cant go wrong with obsidian. Good flavor, nice chewy smoke. all for ~$2. i think i prefer the robustos though.

how was the draw on this cigar? Unusually light or was it a good stiff draw?

I agree. I have tried many in the line and actually like the robustos the best...

To wrap up...

Draw was VERY easy - too easy. Did not seem like there was much filler.

Flavor was less than I had hoped. A little bit "one-note".

Decent cigar - good for $2.

Will look to grab some robustos - will not order the perfecto again.
