Drunk post?

Glad you enjoyed the 5er. I was nervous that it wouldn't show up after watching the tracking stall for a while.

Enjoy em!

Remember, it was a PiB, so no retalliation allowed 😳 (plus you already spanked me pretty hard over here.)

Tired not drunk posting resulted in no [sarcasm] thingy.

That is unless the other 2 of the 3 Amigos is a pipe smoker too. So do ya need any, your care package is just about ready to fly.

Thread jack over.

We're fine, although we appreciate the generosity. Nick occaisionally smokes out of his Nording. I smoke maybe 3 times a day (rotating through my 3 briars), but I'm still working through the last few bags you shipped me. That nougat (whatever it was) is pretty tasty.

Also, none of these cigars were re-gifts, btw. If someone is generous enough to send me something, I'm going to smoke it (or give it to one of the guys i'm here with). I will definitely not regift it to someone, as I think that's a crappy thing to do. All of those cigars were purchased and direct shipped to Grrr from the website.

So no, nothing shipped here will be sent back out. You can put that out of your mind.

I'm unclear on the re-gifting rules here.

Some cigars I know I was sent to develop my palate I hang on to, and most the cigars I've bought lately have been to use in PIBs/RAOKs/Bombs etc. Hope I haven't unintentionally offended anyone by passing along smokes I won't get to in a timely manner due to how few I smoke. Ya'll have been mighty gracious blowing my mailbox and humis up.

CHSWRST, what I'm sending ya'll are all newly acquired to hit the Three Amigos with taster sets-one each of two smokes. No pipe baccy, so it flies tomorrow. he he

There are no rules about regifting...once they are given to you, they are yours to do with as you wish. Some guys in here get a little touchy about it but just a few, screw them. I can understand a few points like the one mentioned above where the gift was "for the troops" or some such, but even in those cases once it is the possession of an individual. I think that the line of "it aint none of your business anymore" has been crossed. If they would rather trade or give the cigar away than smoke it, then sobeit, selling it may cross a line in some cases but again whatcha gonna do?

There are a few threads on the topic from time to time...do a search if you want some entertainment...

People will do as they wish, I wont, and have never re-gifted a cigar. I just wont do it, it was given to me to try, not pass along. That's just me. Every cigar I have ever sent was bought by me, some just for a couple of bombs as I didn't feel that I had anything worthy of sending. My bombs may not be as epic as some, but they were smokes that I was smoking at the time and liked.
If you went in on a box split or something, different all together.

Well for those of us who had little or nothing before our NOOB/VET trade, that initial stock provided us with a huge start up inventory to smoke, try, and yes trade when we decided we didn't prefer something (for whatever reason). Me, I don't particularly like candelas and lanceros. I also don't like medium bodied cigars and most infused. So when I get these in PIBs/Trades (so sorry if anyone is offended here) they go into the "Poker Payout/PIB Box". Additionally, when I get a cigar that I haven't heard of, it is likely that I can't find it in my local B&M, and there is only one of the cigar. That cigar also goes into the same box. The reason: I don't want to fall in love with a cigar that will be difficult/impossible for me to acquire. Now if in the trading/PIB process I accumulate a few of these cigars (this has happened with a few brands...Diesel comes to mind) then I make a little room in my humi for them.
