Pulled out the #3 cigar. Light brown wrapper, looks almost machine rolled. 6x60ish.

Not sure if I let it dry out a little too much but when I tried to use a punch, the whole cap started to fall apart. After some quick patch work, I was able to light her up. Once I got it lit, it still took a bit to really get the smoke going. First third, not sure what I taste. Reminds me of the one La Requiza tasted. (A cigar for a cigarette smoker) Lost the ash after the first 1/2 inch. Is this a short filler cigar? An inch in and I am getting a creamy flavor. So far it is pretty much a one note cigar.

Not sure what to think about this one. I kept going to about the half way point and then ended the experiment. The flavor didn't improve and I was fighting keeping her lit. Sorry this is a short one but I just didn't get much out of this cigar. My guess is a sub $5 cigar. Maybe a newer Black Pearl?

I don't think I would go for this cigar again but it could have been my fault for letting it dry out a little too much. Maybe I can re-examine one in the future. (You never know, I might have been overly critical and highly judgmental that night)

David.

Never smoked a CAO Black before. I am looking forward to the next one. I must say the #5 cigar intrigues me and I can't wait to get to that one.
