The noobs don't know much better, and that's what keeps the lights on....and I'm ok with that. I guess we're just 🌫 reminiscing about prices "back in the day."

Prices do change by the season. As I've posted b4 I usually do the most of my bidding/buying in the winter. I win more and it gives me some time for sticks to sit in the cooler.

Prices of winning bids are up compared to years ago, but costs are up on everything. Have to include increased taxes, manufacturing costs and growing and transportation costs. To be honest, I don't see too many 5-6$ cigars in B&M's that I would buy. Two dollar dog rockets? I'd rather do without.

Then again I remember when gas was 25-27 cents a gallon, beer was $4 a case and Army cigarettes were 19 cents a pack and if you were wearing green underwear they were $1 a carton.

Yep, Pops I am. Two grand kids and I hope more on the way. Still driving my WRX and my old '72 Honda is going back on the street this year. Wife gave me ultimatum, ride it or sell it. So now I need to find leaded gas for the old toy.

And, yes that is a Nascar fire suit. I may be old, but I'm not dead yet.
