I have finally gotten my wineador up and running. Went with the New Aire and the first one that was delivered was defective. It would only turn on when the door was OPEN. Once the door closed the wiring in the door caused it to turn off. Not a great start but at least Amazon has a great return policy!

The bloodwood drawers from Forrest look even better than I had hoped. Except that everything seems much smaller than I had imagined! I really thought that this was going to solve all of my cigar storage needs. Unfortunately that isn't going to work so I will still need to keep the tupperware going...

very cool! how many cigars you think you got in there? That must be the 28 bottle 281E with the SS door how do you like the single shelves? I REALLY wanted the one that would hold the single drawers but i couldnt get past the SS door, i just think the black one looks so much sleeker. NICE BUILD !

very cool! how many cigars you think you got in there? That must be the 28 bottle 281E with the SS door how do you like the single shelves? I REALLY wanted the one that would hold the single drawers but i couldnt get past the SS door, i just think the black one looks so much sleeker. NICE BUILD !

Thanks for sharing. I really like this setup. I was thinking about going with the 180 though. I only have about 150-200ish cigars, mostly singles from samplers and mazos. I have only one actual box and a couple sampler boxes so 180 should be ok. It will also keep me in check with how much I buy.

Very nice. But for the overall cost you probably could have gotten a tower for a few bucks more and not had to rely on tupperware for more storage.

well, im not sure about his reason, but that's exactly why i went with a wineador, temperature control baby! no a/c gets brutal almost anywhere.

That is very true. Except that living in Arizona I was concerned about temperature control. During the day in the summer I keep the house at 85 or so and then cool it before I get home. So this seemed like a better option than an uncooled tower. And the cooled towers seemed much more expensive! I am keeping this unit in my coat closet and then a desktop 100ct in my bar for daily access.

Understand about the temp issue. But then how do you cool your humi and secondary storage in tupperware? Am guessing those are sitting at room temp (85°)? Asking as I went back & forth between a wine cooler vs a cabinet. Temp is an issue in the summer here too, but maintaining humidity is more difficult where I'm at. Only need to maintain temp in surrounding area/room and not the entire house. Am leaning towards a small dual cabinet (1-side for aging, 1-side for regular access) instead.

Again nice set-up, and dig the bloodwood fronts.
