I just got a five pack of the Epernay Le Monde in the mail and I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with these cigars arriving in...how to say it..."ratty" conditions? Three of the cigars have the wrapper falling off or chipped in many parts and one of them is cracked about two thirds of the way up in such a way that it will affect the smoke. Thank God at least *one* is smokeable.

Any other troubles with these? Is it just a very delicate wrapper? How does CBid work with replacing?

Contact CS and they will take care of you.

I have heard the wrappers on those and the candelas is very fragile.

Not Candela but just as fragile.

Got a recent order in (grab a single epernay here ebery once in awhile) and for one it was intact. Though never had one that was unsmokable.

The Epernay and the candela illusiones have fragile wrappers.

From what I have heard and seen.

Just sent CS an e-mail. I know they move thousands of sticks per day, and from what you all have said these are pretty fragile anyway, so I'm not too disappointed. Hopefully they'll fix it! 🙂

Don't worry, CS will take care of you!

I LOVE the Epernay line. The rounds and the Le Matin are just a tick under medium, the fatter box pressed versions are a little over medium with more pepperiness. They're all delicious!
