Thought I would enjoy some yummy Dominican goodness this AM after a few weeks off the CI truck in my humidor. I lit up this overindulgence #3 and the first puff was dust from the factory aging room. The wrapper started an unravel too.

Is there any hope for these overindulgence to get hydrated? How might a noob do this if yes? Thanks! Oh yeah, they are overuns

I might have to dig out my masonry testing gear and use the wireless moisture tester on this mailorder stuff before I open. Thanks for the encouragement, its like draining the proverbial swamp buying cigars with all the used car hype from CI on the budget sticks. The cutbait is the cc bill and the Gator is the Mrs. when I explain all about why I need more cigars while the ones I just got age a few months. At least the Mexican cigars are slightly moldy aged and taste interesting. But then what can I say except that breaking in a new pipe and my own blends has burned off my taste buds so my Kitty cigars might be just as good for all I know. Hate being the nooby. Lol

Go over to the N00B PIB forum and RTFI in the OP, then pick someone up. Let 'em know what you are sending is right off the truck (ROTT) but most of us have enough (even my limited size collection) that we can age some for you and send you some variety to try while your's nap.

Beads......if you're looking for decent value sticks I would encourage you to try a few Perdomos.

Any cigar can be rehabbed if and only if done slowly. I would probably estimate that your would require about 6 months of SLOW humidification. Now, it may not be what it once was, but recent articles indicate that less of the cigars "goodness" might be lost than people would think.
