TJ and I were smoking cigars on the back porch first of last week and TJ, eagle-eye, captainlapdance, spotted one of the little boogers flying around so the wifey and I put out a couple of feeders. Today we counted 4 of them. Just wondering how far up north they have gone. Anybody else have them yet?

Last summer I was smoking on the deck at the new place in the NC foothills. Thought I saw some hummingbirds. Turned out to be mosquitos. :-"

You need to get those birds out of your chimney and screen the opening.

Man, not 10 minutes ago I was sayin' that I wanted a feeder after seein' a hummingbird yesterday.

Just put up some homemade (common) bird feeders two days ago.

Dude, nothing better in the morning than sitting outside with a cup of coffee, smoking a cigar, watching the birds screw with each other.

It would cost a small fortune in sugar to feed all that we have during the summer. Last year we had 5 feeders out that we had to fill every 4 days. Best we could count there were over 30 birds

Slacking a bit, but the feeders went out today. It's still chilly here with no flower blossoms of any kind out yet.

Still looks like just the scouts are here and the rest will follow. Had to refill the feeders and as soon as I hung one up one of the little schits buzzed be to get away from it so he could have a drink.

I like the little bassards but the feeders always attract ants.... I hate those little bassards.... 😟

Ant guards are cheap. Funny, I didn't realize it for most of a season, but my feeder has built-in ant-moat on top. Just need to keep the top (sort of cup-like) filled with water.
