Has anyone else had poor burn issues with an AB Prensado double T?

I have had three straight, one ROTT, one about 3 weeks in the humi, and one at two months canoe right off the bat and continue after many corrections. I was not rushing the burn and there were no wind conditions to speak of.

I have not had this problem with any other size of this blend.

TIA.

I've had burn issue with almost every Prensado that I've smoked. Dry boxing and putting a draw poker through it for about 5 minutes helps.

I've only ever had the Robusto, but almost every one had serious burn issues. Either tunneling, canoeing, you name it. I even tried contacting Alec Bradley but they never answered back. Quite a shame given how much they cost and considering the churchill size was COTY.

The Prensado is nothing more than mulch with a fancy band.............

Interesting. Never had a Prensado but am kinda hooked on the Tempus. Lots of burn issues with them too. Not as bad as canoeing but still, they burn uneven and go out alot. I like the flavor but it can ruin the experience when you have to keep touching it up with a lighter or puffing away like a crack whore to keep it lit.

Screw it, nothing but $20 cigars from now on!

I've had burn issues with most of the AB's I've smoked in the couple of years.

Yup, sadly AB's have a reputation for poor construction.

which really bums me out because the one Prensado I had burn properly tasted amazing. I've tried a few Tempus with similar issues.

AB stuff is famous for fire-proof wrappers.......need to be stored at 60-62 rh, and then lit really well, and puffed regularly.....

well, that's what works for me anyway......most of the time

I've only had one, I think it was a corona extra or similar, and yes, I had burn issues. Not until about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way in, but still frustrating at that price -- bought it at a shop.

Dumped a Black Market today. Tried everything, even cutting the foot to get the wrapper catch up to the filler. Damn thing would not burn, toasted well, but then fizzles out....[-x

Tossed it. I smoke a cigar to relax, not become frustrated. Shame too, it started off well.

Will say that I half thought of smoking the whole thing and creating a hollow cigar - bringing it back to the shop where I bought it and make sure they give it to the rep.#-o
