Anyone know of any upcoming cigar events in Illinois? The only thing I could find was this North Shore Cigar festival in August. Illinois sucks need to move to Texas or something.

I've attended the CPCC (pipe show) there the past two years. Same venue, same tent. It's not a bad spot. The hotel rooms could use some updating, but they actually let us smoke our pipes in the hotel rooms (not in the actual exhibition center) so no complaints there -- not sure if they'll let us do that this year.

In the fall (Sept. I thinK) There is a cigar event at Jimmies Bar in Peoria. A few cigar vendors,various liquor tasting. Sponsored by the Gentleman's Cigar Society. I will post a link when this years event is announced. Smoking is in the beer garden, nothing fancy, but enjoyable.
