The first 1/4" is like POW...I think I just put peppercorns in my mouth. Thankfully, after that, the pepper subsides and it mellows out to something quite a bit smoother, but it's still pretty robust. I probably got about a 1/2" more growth on the ash before it fell off. Nice, even burn.

Exactly. Picked up the 13 and another Asylum (Premium) for under $5 each at a local...IIR the 13 was around $4.50 and the other Asylum about .25 - .50 more.

I really like the Asylum 13. passed on buying a cab when they first offered them here for somewhere around $115 it ended. Kicking myself now as they just keep going up in price and will probably never see a robusto cab go for that cheap again.

I was surprised by this cigar. I didn't expect much from it but I thought it was enjoyable.
