Appearance- 4 5/8" x 50ish torpedo. Orange-ish hugh in color. Slightly toothy. Two kinda large veins that I don't think will cause burn issues. Solid construction with no soft spots.
Prelight- Slight resistance in the draw, just the way I like. Strong tobacco flavor.
first third- Strong tobacco right from the start. Retro burns the sinuses, in a good way. 1/4" in and the pepper is starting to kick in. Both flavors mellow out a bit at 1/2" in. Wood note starts to kick in. Had to retouch with the lighter just a bit. Ash it tight and white. A pleasant, mild sweetness starts to build about an inch in.
second third- Tobacco flavor picking back up as well as pepper. Very small hint of vanilla at the 1/3 to 2/3 transition point. Did not last long. Slight saltiness is also starting to become present but quickly faded. Cigar started to mellow out a bit again. Ash still holding strong at 1 1/2". Tobacco, nutty, very slight sweetness all present. Finish in the mouth has a sweet bread, almost graham cracker flavor, for a couple puffs around the halfway point.
last third- Ash finally fell at 2", just starting the last third. Still good tobacco, slight bread/nut, nice sweetness, and now a mild coffee note. Pepper started to show it's face agian just after I wrote all the flavors. Wrapper started to crack open a bit with 2" left.
Excellent cigar that I ended up burning my fingers on before putting it down. If it still had the cedar wrapper and red band at the foot, it would be easier to gaurantee my guess is an Opus xXx power ranger. If I am correct, I'm guessing 3-4 years of age? If I'm not correct, let me know what it is so I can find more!
