I know you probably have discussed torch lighters many times before but I need opinions. Bought the Blazer little buddy a few months ago and its OK. Love the big fuel tank. Action is great but the flame just does not seem strong enough. Looking for a torch that can handle a slight breeze. Any suggestions would be appreciated Rob

Get one of these. Quad jets and good, strong flames.

I've won 3 at $7, but if you get into an auction early, you should be able to get one for $10, tops. Then again, with all the recent insane overbidding going on here, maybe not. CI's regular price is $19.50.

👍 on the Jetline Grenade. Have two and have not had any problems with either.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a new Yorker.

How many times must we have to send them back, or get replacements for them when they stop working? Seriously, if you have a few of these overpriced, overhyped lighters, you will experience this frustration in time. It works to irritate folks like me after it happens a few times. These lighters will foul/fail in time, regardless of the type of fuel you use. They will honor the warranty without question, but, for me it is best to buy cheaper torches and toss them when they eventually fail.

My recommendations include the black ops triple torch, the CI Lotus lazer torch (single). Both can be had here for about 10 bucks on the auctions. Another good option is a Ronson Jetlite for about $3 at your wallyworld.

I have a xicar. I have had it for 4-5 years. I use colibri butane. I have never had any problems with it.

I often wonder what the hell some people are doing with their lighters that they fail all the time.

Anyway, I am completely satisfied with my xikar and heartily recommend them.

Well said stogie,my exact thoughts.I'm tired with buying padded envelopes, paying postage fees and waiting for their return.I got the Talons from $7-10 and still using my first one. They also have a much better flame than Xicar

I don't have a Xicar... was just pointing out the warranty in case the OP didn't know about it.

And I'm down with you on the Ronson Jetlites. They work great in all but the windiest conditions.

I've got 2 Bugatti's a b1 & a b1001 and no complaints. I had a few various Colibri's years ago that lasted me several years but they went missing when I quit cigarettes.
