I would like to return a favor to a deployed MO who helped me out. Does anyone know if I can ship smokes by way of their Beach Det? I have the Det addy, just not sure if the COD can carry smokes.

As long as it isn't prohibited items (Porn, Liquor, drugs) almost anything can be sent to the FPO (Fleet Post Office) addy. Is he on a deployed ship? Sometimes care packages take awhile to catch up to ships at sea and you want to make sure they are humidified.

I have received and sent many packages when deployed and to APO addys. If you have to complete a customs declaration, I recommend you put things like toiletries, samples, literature, or snacks in the description block.
