Mrs. Numi has fall mtgs. at St Pete on the beach Oct. 24-27, so we will be in the Tampa, Ybor CIty area the week prior, we may come down around the 19 or 20th.

Looking forward to meeting up with Doc and others.

I remember another thread mentioning a South Fl. trip, I say the more the merrier.

Bringing this up now because i'm looking into booking the flights, and hotel/hotels.

Also to start giving all the area folks a heads up before the maniac arrives, act accordingly, all who desire to hide, please do so, otherwise let me know, and we will have some fun at least once, perhaps more.

Instead of coming into Orlando and hitting a few parks ( we both LOVE the Disney parks, Universal's not bad, either)

I think I will look up some local history and wineries around the Tampa/St. Pete area. Any help appreciated.

there's a place called Gators I think that is on the south side of John's Pass that makes an excellent omlete.... cool place cause you can watch the drawbridge open and close when the boats go thru.. lots of pelicans and stuff too..... 👍

Yep, Gators on the Pass inside the bridge on the south side of John's Pass. Big snook stack up right next to the verandah. i tried to get the manager to let me bring in a fishing pole with no luck. This was several years ago and they let us smoke cigars outside on the verandah, but it is hard now to find any place that will let you smoke cigars even outside. I always find the spot downwind from everyone else so no one will complain, but it seems someone is always complaining.
