Believe it or not, I've never had one. Since I've been gravitating toward lighter cigars, the Cedar Aged and Vintage Cameroon lines (the ones with the cedar sleeves) have caught my eye. I really enjoy most Cameroon cigars (Torano 1916, Fuente, La Aurora, '07 Morados, etc.). So, how do these stack up to say the 8-5-8 Fuente? Everyday cheapie, solid everyday, above average? Thanks.

I've never had a 858 but the vintage Cameroon rob I had was a very good daily. It was a light white pepper spice, slightly woody, a nice sweet and very creamy flavor. I haven't seen any in my area to purchase though so I haven't had one in a while.

No, Pro, never had. The only CCs I've ever smoked was a Monte #2, Bolivar, and maybe a half dozen assorted Cohibas. None of them knocked my socks off, or gave me the desire to search out any more.

The 46's are one of my favorite CC's. I think they would be right up your alley. The 50's are highly rated but to me they don't compare to the 46's. I think the 46's are right in your profile and size preference.

There will be a couple coming your way this week.

I think the cameroon wrapper is among my least favorite wrappers... not that I hate them, they just don't do anything for me... I smoked through about a 1/2 dozen of the Torano 1916's and ended up giving the rest away... same with the chateau fuente cameroon's...

Yes, Joel, the '07 Morados have a cammie wrapper. I read an interview many years ago with the owner of LPH, where he was talking about the wrapper being from a really rare and exceptional crop. In the interview, he stated that once they ran out of the wrapper, they'd have to discontinue the cigar, as he didn't want to bastardize the cigar by using a lower grade replacement wrapper. That's why my radar went off, when they showed up here in quantity, for a low price with different packaging.

That's good enough for me, Jammie. I'll have to try and snag a few for cheap.
