I bought some of these and found that 4 out of 5 are plugged and wont draw. Has anyone else had this experience with them? The smoke isn't bad on the one out of five that is smoke-able.

Never heard of it. Sounds like a dog rocket though.

CI's everyday price is a buck a stick. What did you expect?

even a white owl will draw. You should expect a draw for a dollar cigar.

One out of five that was smokeable? So it cost 5 bucks for one cigar. My advice would be to look at something more dependable and not look at the sticker price (also don't put stock in the ad copy BS)

There are a ton of cigars in the $5 range that will not disappoint you. Off the top of my head I would look into a Padron X000 series You wont find them up for bid but you can find them at the mothership (cigarsinternational.com), elsewhere online, or any reasonable cigar shop.

Another dependable everyday cigar that I enjoy are the various 5 Vegas cigars. These are up for bid all the time and you can score them for about $2-3 each.

You can't compare mass produced, machine made cigars to hand made cigars. If a hand made retails for a buck, there's a very good reason why. Usually because it's an unsmokeable POS.

My coolers are full of cigars I paid $1 to $2 for. The difference is, CI sells them day in and day out to other folk for $6 to $10.

For a long time, before I developed technics to win good cigars for pennies on the dollar, I tried to find that cheap, hidden gem. I can tell you from hundreds of experiences that those cheap bundle cigars are for the most part, extremely inconsistent. In the same bundle you will get cigars that are plugged, others that are so tightly rolled that they are unsmokable, and ones that are so loosely rolled, they burn hot. These are usually rolled by the least experienced, or lowest skilled rollers, and sometimes, they are "practice" cigars for new rollers in training. Of course they are also going to use crap tobacco in these, that is not fit for their better cigars.

You can do like I did, and waste a ton of money trying to find that great $1 retail cigar, or listen to the words of experience, and realize that it just doesn't exist.

Don't listen to him 82Bowker.......

lies lies lies!

It's a well known fact that DP has found TWO $1.00 cigars that taste JUST LIKE a high end Padron.

But he won't tell us what it is!

However, I hear Jade knows of these two gems, and will share the secret with you, if you share a Cuban with him.
