Hi. My name is John and I'm a cigar smoker.

I've been smoking for 15 or so years, more so in the last couple. It helps to escape the pressures of life and I enjoy the fellowship. I just can't seem to stop. Don't know that I care to either - even with the excessive amount if time I spend online reading about cigars and looking for deals, not to mention the funding required to keep my fix going.

Let's get this out of the way:

Pancakes and waffles, but never at the same time.

I don't seek out gladiator movies, not that there's anything wrong with them.

I live in central Florida. I'm surrounded by beaches but avoid long walks on them these days.

Yes, I've seen the...Thongina...I can't even say it...

Hopefully, this great group of BOTL's can sympathize with my cigar needs and provide guidance.

Thanks for listening.

John

Palama...Chevy. Had a 75 Camero in high school. Miss it..

Wheel...just because she's camera shy doesn't mean photos don't exist. I'd just like to keep my equipment intact. I'll have to post something acceptable when I'm on my computer - using phone now.

I miss my '68 Road Runner 😞

But spent too much money on it and sadly let it sit too long outside....

Sorry, didn't mean to thread jack your post.

No problem. One of my best friends had a Road Runner in high school. Nice ride. Would ride with him and his brother to school; was temporarily deaf when we got there from the stereo.

Wheel, I think it had a 350 engine. Wasn't too powerful though; at least sounded better after I added dual exhaust. Beat driving my mom's Maverick...and the girls liked it. I'd have rather had yours though, wow, very nice ride.

It was quiet and everything fitted under the hood. When I nailed it all you could hear was the motor. It looked all original except for the M&H Racemasters and the Traction bars

The only neighborhood car that could beat me was a Barracuda with a 426 Hemi,,,

I seriously can't remember what I did with the cam (...it was a street & strip one so kept the car decently quiet...) valve job or lifters but I did put in chrome moly pushrods. I stopped after that 'cause it was just getting crazy to reduce my speed by a tenth or two.

A vac pump carb was good with a didvided plenum intake but not really high comp stuff, just a nice part swap ..

I had a trubo 400 tranny built for it that was unreal...

Yeah, I used my friend's d.p. Holley for the tracks but can't remember how big it was. The vac pump was good for everyday driving.
