I just finished an almost perfect cigar:

Romeo Y Julieta Medallas de Oro 1875, 50 x 7 (White Tag R Y J1875 Churchill)

I've never seen such a perfect even burn. I dropped the ash only three times.

Each ash reached about 1-1/2 firm inches. All smoke between puffs came out of the end of the ash.

You may be use to use to such a well made cigar, but I sat on my patio amazed.

Excellent good flavor.

Over the years I've had hundreds of cigars that burned perfectly straight and held a 1-1/2" to 2" ash, and I don't spend a whole lot for my smokes. I wonder what you've been smoking.

OK, noob, here's a case in point. I just finished a 5 Vegas Triple A (AJ blend with PA Broadleaf wrapper). I picked up 15 to 20 of these in AJ Samplers (Diesel UHC, MOW Ruination, MOW Virtue, Triple A & LH Fuerte) for $7 a sampler ($1.40 per cigar). It had a perfect burn, and held a good 2" ash. I only ashed it once. In fact, every cigar in this sampler holds a 1-1/2" to 2" ash without even trying.

Again, I've smoked hundreds of good, inexpensive cigars that have a perfect burn, and hold a long ash, so I'm really wondering what you're smoking, that you find this one experience so exceptional.

DP leave the guy alone. He was just saying he had a great cigar. He's not as old and grumpy as you.

Funny how people will tell you to smoke what you like but then rag on you that you aren't smoking quality cigars...

No, my point was that the inexpensive cigars that I smoke, almost always hold a 1-1/2" to 2" ash, and burn even, so I was seriously curious of what he smoked regularly, that didn't.

Now, all you smart asre whipper snappers, get off my freak'n lawn! [ram27bat]

Glad to hear that you have found a cigar that you feel is close to perfect. Haven't gotten there yet. For me a certain PAM 26 No.1, TAA 2011, and Anarchy were all above outstanding, but I wouldn't say close to perfect.
