Bought a lot of these - use to be one of my favorite cigars years and years ago. They burned perfectly but were tasteless. None of the spicy taste I remember. Just like smoke without flavor.

Anyone had a good batch of these?

Not since the late 90s. Brand mark changed hands many times as did the blend. Prices went down and the quality went with it...

Ah that explains things. The Bahia web site doesn't even have valid contact information. I recently smoked a Bahia Gold that was pretty good but never my favorite. Are any of the other Bahia blends any good like the Blue, "B", Icon?

TIA

I've got a bunch of Bahia's aging and the few that I've smoked were fair to quite good. A fellow I know likes the maduros. I'm not too keen on the B-line or the Icon tho. The Insignia is still under testing, but a friend of mine thought they were quite good.

White golds are a hidden gem imho. Can be had for $3-5 for a 5er. I think they're a great bang for buck

Icon sucks, have had 5 of them from 1 week to 8 months rest and no improvement, poor construction, bad burn, severe tunneling, meh taste

I will try the B-line and order some Golds and report back on the quality. The Golds I had before were not from this site. My favorite Bahia was the Vintage - wish I could find something that was close to that.

I like the Bahia Icon and the Blue. Both require a few months in your humidor to make them worth it. If you smoke them when you first get them you'll be disappointed.

Bahia Trindad and Blu are scrap cigars. Try Bahia Gold Maduro. It is a very good smoke. Better then Ashton, Fuente, Macanudo, or Punch regular Maduro lines.

Smoked a Trinidad short churcill this afternoon. A mild to maybe medium strength smoke that wasn't objectionable. My palate is off, so I don't know if there was any flavor to speak of. I think they are at least a worthwhile work cigar if the price was right.
