I've only had the oportunity to try the 77 and one other (dont remember which it was) and liked them both.

Currently eyeing up a box of either the 46 or the 48, what's your opinions or suggestions?

All the Anejos I've had were good...can't go wrong either way. Maybe the determining factor could be how much time do you have to smoke. The 48's will prolly take about 20 minutes more to enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback, wasn't really looking for them but I ran across some at a over seas shpo that has a price I cant refuse.

Doesn't matter which ones you buy. Grab a box and I'll drive down and help you ash them.

Been a long time since I've smoked an Anejo, but my recollection is that the 46 is spicier and stronger, while the 48 is a bit mellower and richer.

I ordered the 46 last week from that said shop. If you want I'll let you know how they look when they arrive.

Seems to me that I've heard they need to sit 6 months or a year to be good. Is that true ? I have one resting for about 6 months now and wondering if I should smoke it this fall or wait until next spring.

46 is fantastic. Haven't got around to the 55 yet. Ones I have are aged 5 years I think and all the ones Ive had are amazing. still yet to try the 77 and some of the other blends.

I like the 49s myself, super duper smoothy.

On aging, the tobacco is already aged quite abit so not sure I would age these.TTHat's my theory though, anyone have experience with longer term aging (eg, 6mo, 12 mo, 18mo)?

When it comes to these or the Hemingways aging is a good idea.
