March '13 box code. Fairly dark, reddish wrapper. Construction was spot on, better than a lot of the tat PCRs I've had lately.

Opened with a bit of well roasted nuts and a bit of that cuban twang. After a few puffs it was clear that it had and some of that fresh cigar harshness, but not overwhelming. Might settle into a nice pepper flavor later with some age. Little floral notes popped in at the mid way point, but were overwhelmed by the freshness. I figured I was smoking it too fast and tried to slow it down a bit and that helped a lot, with more of a chicory coffee flavor coming out. There was a lot going on for such a short smoke and I hope these will age in to something pretty nice but they do seem a little young now. I would call it a solid medium strength, stronger than I expected.

So yes, good young, but I would sit on them if you can and make do with smoking Verocu #5s in the meantime.

Good reviews- you know where- to. It will be interesting to see if the little ones are just harsh because of size or prior poor storage. I have faith as I smoked a couple pc's a few years back and am certain I picked up a subtle berry taste...
