It would be *really* sad if they both thought they were bidding on a box of 12 (...'cause the picture is incorrect and they didn't read the description...). [frypan]

Yikes! They are deffinitely not worth that price. Id say $10 at best.

fwiw, a dozen singles went for 23 to 25 a stick on another auction site recently.

and here at cbid, a five pack went for july 21 for $147 with 20 bids.

While I know a lot less about cigars than you guys do, I'm guessing that they are not readily available elsewhere and the auction sites are smart to auction them off to the highest bidder rather than putting them in general inventory.

Change the picture!

Can't be all that hard.

Okay, okay, that topic has been brought up more than once but nothing seems to have been done about it. [ram27bat]

If that was considered by some to be the best around, and not readily available, I could see myself paying that to get myself for a christmas present. One year anyhow.

And if I had about ten times more income than I have today, I would just pay the price if I wanted it.

Or I could see myself splitting a five pack with my son if he was all revved up about it to celebrate his birthday or something similar.

As it is, I am unlikely to be bidding at such levels. I really want to feel more like I am smoking something than I am burning up money#-o

That is less than they go for at B&Ms here when they are in stock. Regular #9 and #52 go for $20 a pop. Considering how HTF these are I don't think it is that crazy, but there is no way in hell I would pay that either.

I smoked one this weekend... Was a great cigar no doubt as are most of the unicos i have had. Just that i don't think they are all that! Give me a Padron, Tat, Viaje, LFD or a AF and I am a happy camper.

I almost thot it was the best of the unico series next to the dirty rat if not just as good or a tad better. I only smoked one and a box resting. so i'll know if I ever smoke again. 😣

At $20+ per cigar, just think of the EL and aged Havanas one could be smoking for a lot less...

I didn't think they were better than the T-52s in terms of flavor, and only a notch up in strength. The Dirty Rat is still a top 10 cigar for me, but only at retail prices. The secondary market on these is insane. Its no wonder they stopped selling these on the mothership, they can make money hand over foot auctioning them.

The original Rats were amazing, the newer ones aren't worth the money or effort of finding to me.

Drew Estates makes a top notch product but jumped the value per pound shark for me awhile ago.

hmm, I have a few resting, maybe it's time to light one up and see what all the fuss is about.
