I know every year they refuse to disclose the actual date until January or so, but a lot of us need as much advance notice as possible due to vacation requests and travel concerns. Has anybody heard the dates for the next one? I saw somewhere that it's the weekend of May2-3, anybody hear anything else?

I was at one of the stores the other day and asked they said it was going to be the same weekend as the Kentucky Derby. So hope that helps.

The dates haven't been disclosed yet, but it's usually the last weekend in April or the first weekend in May.

I'm hoping there will be some news popping up soon.

Just got my email and pre-registered. No auction this year nor the Quick-buy, which I planned to buy this year. Shirt and hat look better than the hideous slime green of last year, but once again the nicer combination is Saturday. Black shirt and charcoal hat on Saturday with tan shirt and brown hat on Friday. Shirts are Dickies and look like work shirts, Fridays gear makes you look like your working at the safari.

Does the shirt and hat come with the cigarnut ticket?

I don't believe so, last year they did that if you paid extra for the nut ticket but bought it with the Quickbuy feature.

Sadly, I'll still be stuck in the Middle East. The freebies look very nice!! I see MUWATS, undercrown, Olivas, AB MAXX, Nica Rusticas and a few RP labels in the mix.

And that's just the attendees!

I don't believe the shirts/hats will come automatically with anything this year. I've got to sit down with the event planner and get more intel so I'm not providing incorrect info. If you're there, you'll need to stop by and harrass....I mean say hi to me! I'll be at the entrance tent again this year.

Looking forward to it! :)

Has anyone been to cfest in the past, and if so, was it worth it? I'm thinking about doing the Saturday session this year. Were the cigars offered worth the price of admission?

The sticks they give are mostly decent. Best time is hanging with all the botl/sotl in the parking lot.

I have been going there for 6 years, will go again this year and things change each year with the purpose of always making things better. The cigars are as chazbo says decent and the food has been good. The outside food tent is now much larger and plenty of places to sit. Have stayed inside some years and done the parking lot herf with friends in other years. CI as far as I am concerned has done an outstanding job in putting Cigarfest on each year. Have things gone wrong, of course and lessons have been learned and will continue to be. Will Cigarfest be perfect, maybe if the price were $10.00 a ticket, everybody got a full box AF WOAM's and dinner seating with a personal waiter. But really, you get to spend a day with friends who smoke cigars, have a place to sit and food to eat.

A sincere thank you all at CI and Cigarbid for your efforts in putting this on each year. I think it's great, my three buddies think it's great, we will be there this year and as long as you continue to have them and that's all I have to say about that!

Well not all, sorry that green shirt last year was just beyond bad. And I will say hi to Trish when I come in, she is the redhead right?

It's fun. Everybody should attend at least once.
$125 is worth it.
Skip the shirt. They've been ugly in the past.
