So I sent an email to Litto Gomez asking if they might have any boxes of Coronado by La Flor aka The Hammer box pressed 6.5 x 47 vitola left laying around. These were made exclusively for a shpo here in Philadelphia. I just got a email back from him saying "Hi Stephen, we have some of those original boxes at the factory, let us know if you want a box or more." These were boxed in 2008! I sent an email back asking how many he had left and how much. If anyone is interested in the answer let me know. These are a really good smoke and as I said this vitola was only available here in Philly and I think the box press and size made a huge difference in flavor compared to other vitola's of this blend. I know Jespear really likes these so I may have to get an extra box and have Santa deliver them but only if he's been a good boy this year;-)

So I let her know that the shop will not be ordering any more and I also let her know that the shop's price was $79.95. I'm waiting to hear back from her on a final price and if they will release all 16 boxes since the shop has no plans to order this vitola and has flagged it as closed out in their system. Once I hear back from her I'll update you guys again. I have a list of people who pm'd me showing interest in getting a box and depending on how many boxes they finally decide to release I'm going to use that list and the order I was contacted in to decide who gets first crack at buying a box. Hopefully they decide to let me buy all 16 and everyone who contacted me will get a box and maybe 2 boxes if there are enough left.
