A lot of buzz about theses sticks already. Anyone tried them yet or bought some? Anyway...
I pop open the tube and instantly get a blast of that sweet Patron anejo tequilla aroma. As a patron lover; I knew this was going to be a treat. Although I only drank water with this to only taste the cigar with no tequilla accompanying it. The stick had the aroma of yep; tequilla and cedar. Cold draw; take a guess. Tequilla and some hay. I torch this baby up and was greeted with a smooth tobacco, along with some cedar. It had a somewhat oily/creamy texture. First third: a smooth tobacco on the draw, and a creamy textured cedar on the finish. And yes, it was slight; but that patron anejo sweetness accompanied the cedar on the finish. Hard to pick up though. Some draws it was there, others it wasn't. Very pleasant aroma too. Do you need to guess? The aroma was of patron sweetness, and a general tobacco mix. Effortless draw, billows of thick creamy smoke. Second third: creaminess ramps up. Tobacco died off on draw. On the draw now was a creamy cedar, then it quickky went to the finish, which was now a nice cashew like nuttiness, mixing well with the patron sweetness which has come up a bit too. The flavors are lighter, but very rich and pretty creamy. Final third: not much changed. The cedar has become deeper on the draw, and it still has that nice creamy nuttiness with the patron sweetness. The sweetness died down again in the final third. Its slightly there like in the first third. That's about it. Overall, it wasn't a complex stick obviously. The aroma of patron was definitely more prominent than the flavor. Which isn't a bad thing. I didn't wanna go into this with it being one dimensional only tasting patron. But even though itt was simple; very unique flavors. They all had that patron anejo sweetness. I felt it was a perfect balance of it. No strength at all has well. The body was mild to medium at most. But it was rich and creamy. At msrp this cigar is around 10-11$ alittle high but id probably keep a few on hand still. They are highly discounted on cbid here, and cigars intl. If you can get them at the prices they have here or on cigars intl, id recommend picking up a few. They are a different cigar, which is why id consider paying retail for a few once they start selling more and become harder to find. Id give this cigar a 87 or 88 out of 100. May be a bit high, and perhaps generous being I'ma avid patron anejo lover, but I think you'd find this an enjoyable stick. It wont wow you, but sit back and enjoy it. Its a nice mellow treat. It can be enjoyed any time of the day. Until next time, thanks all! -TheCigarCaddy

Smoke a Padrón or a Fuente Añejo for a real cigar.

If that was a quick review I'd hate to see the long version

I might try one, but since I'm not a fan of Tequilla, I doubt if I would like it.
