Get off work at midnight, in about 3 hours, and head to the usual place.

Tonight I brought along a My Father le Bijou 1922, an Ashton VSG, and, of course, a JdN Antano Dark Corojo.

Probably only smoke two of them tonight. Get to bed by 3:00am or so and back up and at it by 3:00pm for more... to start off my 'weekend'.

What VSG size, and how was it ?

Well, it looks like a Corona Gorda, 5.7 x 46. I tried searching back through my orders to find it, and I have a fiver of these, but I couldn't find it. I will be posting up a photo in the cigar photo thread.

I recently posted in another thread that the last Ashton VSG I smoked was -bad-. I think it was a robusto size. It had construction issues and I couldn't smoke it.

However....... This one was awesome! I was drinking a Kona Fire Rock (Pale Ale) and it was like eating chocolate cake! (at least that's what I was thinking.) 😇 Beer and chocolate can be a good mix...

After that I had the My Father le Bijou 1922.... Of course, it was a as good as the last one I smoked!

Then, instead of the JdN, I had a Gurkha Park Avenue. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was too! I got a bunch of those to put in the Vets Hall humidor since I had read some reviews about them being good smokes.


All in all... a good start to the weekend.
