Maybe a little bit overkill. Still trying to work out what order to put them in.

😨

About to head to the local thrift shop to pick up a beater to play this week while on the road and then re-donate to them.

What's a pedal board do? Why would anyone want to use one with a guitar? Looks like something an asperger's might invent.

Dammit, bloody, you made my OCD kick in. Someone hurry up and organize that mess and get the pedals mounted by color, then number of knobs....

If you watch "It Might Get Loud" they show The Edge's home studio. While much more modern looking, his footpedal rig is about that big, and is wired to what looks like a computer bank.

He even admits the technical experimentation with effects and redefining what a "guitar" sounds like is an obsession of his.

What a hot mess.

There are modeler's that do it much better than that footprint.

I've used my digitech BP200 for more than 10 years. Before that I used a rack mount that was jacked in to the mixing board.

Hell, there's amps from Line6 that will do everything all of that will do too!

KISS. More than just a great band.

Tough choice, but lean toward the Jimi version, and the U2 surprise concert cover they've only done a few times.

The "Judge" has spoken.

Even Dylan uses the tunings Hendrix used and style played when he...the original artist and creator...plays the song.

Dylan has described his reaction to hearing Hendrix's version: "It overwhelmed me, really. He had such talent, he could find things inside a song and vigorously develop them. He found things that other people wouldn't think of finding in there. He probably improved upon it by the spaces he was using. I took license with the song from his version, actually, and continue to do it to this day."[25] In the booklet accompanying his Biograph album, Dylan said: "I liked Jimi Hendrix's record of this and ever since he died I've been doing it that way... Strange how when I sing it, I always feel it's a tribute to him in some kind of way."
