I've got one of these without the wood inside. Mine will hold 28 sticks and has foam dividers that are half circle grooved specifically for cigars. You don't need the wood. Does nothing but take up space and obsorbs humidity. The gasket seal is all you need + some padding for the smokes. Many companies sell these and will hold up to 40+ sticks.....even the mothership has them.

Wouldn't want to. Thing's too damn heavy. There's handles on three sides - use one from each side if necessary. There's also a luggage handle and roller wheels if I wanted...

I've got more dividers than what's pictured. I also added some trays/racks - think top rack on a china humi. So really, if I wanted and organized, I could make it mobile. But, it's just going to sit here in the corner of my basement.



The dividers have foam tape on the ends, and are movable. I made more than what's pictured.

Case overall is 25x18x8 IIRC. Inner box is 23x15x6



If I bought enough cigars to have this thing full, plus my desktop full, pretty sure I'd be in trouble. The rest of the family doesn't live on sammiches, beer, n gars.



Don't need the wood?

No, probably not simply for maintaining humidity. I could just throw my sticks in a tupperware or cooler too.

The purpose of this build was to be a wooden humidor built for under $100 that performs better than a $100 wooden humidor. Hence the hybrid humi.

I could've skipped the wood and had a fancy tupperdor/coolerdor. Or I could've spent $500 on a custom humidor. Instead, I spent $60 and some time on a nice blend of both worlds.

u might as well carry bricks in ur azz....it weighs the same

its impressive man, i like it, it would make a nice garage humidor..what i find myself doing is always carrying cigars back and forth and carrying toys such has cutters, lighters, my own tools i use to help unplug cigars and what you created can hold and store all these things..good job in my opinion..
