I'm looking for some good Irish Whiskey. Nothing too big or too expensive. I just need a few pint sized bottles to have around for when I want to pair with cigars or have a glass. I got a bunch of smokes I'd like to trade for some whiskey.

+1 Bushmills makes a 10 year old aged in sherry casks. it is good with cigars

2 gingers is my go to. Not aged but a good smooth irish whiskey. I drink it with ginger ale and a splash of lime. Not nationwide yet so let me know if you need some.

To my taste Powers Gold is a step up from Jamison or Bushmills at a slightly higher price. If you can find it Paddy is as good as any high end Irish whiskey I have tasted, also very reasonably priced.

Thank you guys for all the recommendations. I did a little research and decided on some whiskey. If anyone has Balveine 12 year single barrel let me know. If not, I'd be interested in trading for Michael Collins 10 year single malt or Greenore 8 year single grain.

If you like single malt scotch, I would give Bushmill's 16 year old single malt a try. Don't think you will be disappointed. Bushmill's also has a 10 or 12 year old single malt which I have not tried but maybe worth a shot.

Kentucky bourbon is the way to go .Blanton’s Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey, four roses ,Elijah Craig 12 year or Woodford reserve

Being a bigger noob in whiskey than cigars, Would I be able to taste differences between single malt whiskey and bourbon? Which one has a more rugged taste? Which one pairs better with cigars? if there's any real difference.

Which one pairs better with cigars? That would depend on the individuals taste (what one likes).

Any real difference? Yep

You will have to determine your own likes and dislikes both in cigars and pairing a beverage. That is part of the fun.
