I'm the guy that stopped eating fillet of fish at McyDees because I kept finding bones. Cigars are not exempt. I gave up Backwoods (naturals) a few decades ago because one was so bad I cut it open and found a partly burned bird feather in it. This year I found a strip of red tarp in a C'est LA Vie and a silver plastic thread in a La Tabaqueria robusto. Two more brands I'll never buy again. Hopefully better cigars will be exempt from this lack of QC.

I gotta think the odds of finding an actual fish bone in a McD Filet o'fish sammy is higher than finding a bird feather, red tarp, or silver plastic thread in one.

Dude, you got the one with fish in it!

I've had this happen multiple times with Papas Fritas...only confirming the fact that they really do sweep that stuff off the floor.

I spoke to johnny brooke about it and basically said that foreign object debris happens now and then but they obviously strive to prevent it.

Man that's crazy.
Feathers, plastic, what else.
Keep this bumped. I'm curious to see if anyone else has had similar experiences.
I can see how it happens. Rollers get paid pennies for cigars that sell for dollars
It's the equivalent to finding a loogie in you fish sammich.
so I guess rule of thumb.
If it don't taste right, cut that chit open.

IMHE most of the cigars you mention are cut open, filler removed, and stuffed with other organic material… blunts dude.
Smoke a better cigar! Eat better food.

IMHO when considering how many millions do cigars are rolled per year by untold number of companies I still think it's a rare thing. And I do not hold an entire company liable for something that could be a couple of torcedores who just don't give a shit what they turn out. No doubt this can be almost " expected" when using F'n floor sweepings!! THAT In my opinion is wrong right out of the gate, reserve these for the hired help to smoke....FOR FREE🌫

Good to see you have at least graduated from gas station machine rolled to dog rockets...I agree, open your wallet a little more and I am scared to think what you consider better than what you have purchased so far! 🤦

I found a tampon in a Gordo.

Called the company who said that they'd do anything to make me happy.

I told them that I wanted to put it back where it had come from.

They said that they were shocked that I wanted to have a hand in that.

Told them that I had no intention of using my hands.

I have plenty of good cigars, just don't smoke them in cold weather. The last time I bought a machine made was last year and I still like the CT. shade grown ones that I can still find. That last backwoods was in the 1980s.

LMAO! frickin' ingrate

Throughout the years I've found assorted stems/twigs, a little saran wrap, even had black lips (dyed ink not actual lips) but the saddest and most haunting was a partially scribbled "Get Help" note I found inside a Lot 23. Tossed the stick before I could see who signed it.
