Won a couple Auctions last week. Shipping preference is Thursday. All Auctions won TH. thru Wed. of the week will be processsed/shipped on Thursday. Usually order shows up on my doorstep on Monday. Now the screwup part. Apparently the NEW policy is to process the orders as always on Thursday so they can get their money, BUT not to ship until Tuesday of the next week. The problem is I wanted and expected said Order to arrive yesterday or at the worst Today so that I would have some of these Cigars to take on my annual Trout fishing trip. I leave Wednesday morning and will be 500 miles away when they finally show up. I was really looking forward to enjoying a Cain Daytona down by the River every morning to start my Day. They ""GOT"" me Again. YES, that is how I really feel. Why have a weekly preference set if they're not going to follow their own rules? They grabbed my money right away but they'll gladly ship my cigars "next Tuesday". "They ""GOT"" me Again"[ram27bat]

Rant OFF,,,, but I feel better now and will find something different to smoke for a morning starter.

I bid and win and don't worry about when stuff shows up.

Just my 2 cents...

Edit: maybe it's poor planning to expect such meticulous shipping times.

(sorry)

Edit 2: oh wait, am I just feeding the 'troll'... 😉

Yes, it sux, but unfortunately they don't have to ship the day you set. However, I never smoke cigars as soon as they arrive.

While you're correct that we state it may be a day or two from the time the orders are downloaded for the site, we shouldn't make our customers wait this long. I have no control over the way the warehouse works, unfortunately.

Troller - I know they were slammed with orders and some equipment breakdowns that caused a back up. I apologize for the delay. Wish I could change it for you. I'll have one of the supervisors get in touch with you.

Why? Not a snide question, I'm just curious about what the difference would be.

Cuz you're a doer. A captain of your ship, a natural born leader, goal oriented, and a people person.

And we love you.

I usually don't worry about when they're gonna show up, but since most of my stash is FULL cigars I wanted something a bit more mild for my first cigar of the day. I'm always the first guy up in the morning so I grab my chair, a couple beers and a stogie and head down by the River to enjoy the breaking day. We're in the U.P. wilderness and I get to watch it wake up and pass me by. You should see the deer and how confused they are by some dumbazz sitting right out in the open.
Anyway, I usually get my orders promptly the next Monday, once in a blue moon on Tuesday. Yes, I could have planned better and made sure I had whatever on hand already but that Auction caught my eye and I said "perfect", and figured I'd be fine.
By the way, SUPERTROLLER refers to my preferred way to catch Walleye.

I most always smoke at least a few ROTT. They come from a perfectly controlled environment to keep them in good condition. I can age them some more but they're ready to be sampled ROTT.

Mr. Troller, Trish is handling this personally for you, she makes no promises however, now you should edit your first post before it gets copied. We're a family here, and that's no way to talk to family.

There, I adjusted the wording, it probably was a little too aggressive and over-the-top. I'm not usually a whiney little b!#@%, so I'm not good at it.

Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about getting them to you before your trip and I'm very sorry about that. But I'm sure one of the supervisors will be in touch with you soon to offer you some kind of resolution. I know it won't take the place of taking the cigars with you, but my hope is that you realize we do value you as a customer and apologize for the inconvenience.
