Just looked at a catalog from cigar.com where they have a special page on rare, aged cigars. One stick which was rolled three years after Lee surrundered at Appomatox to Grant, sells for $400/stick. Unless someone purchases cigars like this for investment purposes, they have to be out of their minds. 😗

I say you buy a cigar like that more for the story of how old it is rather than for smoking. They have others on their site for more than that. It is crazy what a person will spend on pieces of rolled tobacco lol. Regards 🇨🇮

Clip it with your teeth, light it with a zippo, hot box it, ash by blowing off the ash every few seconds with extreme force and put it out just at the last third mark by scrapping it all over the sidewalk and post the video to YouTube.

Actually that is a good question. Does cbid consider the other companies owned by their parent company competitors?

As some have already pointed out to the uninformed and misguided, Cigars.com and Cigars International are the same company unless two different competitors have the exact same address. Add another--PipesandCigars.com. If they are competitors, they are all competing at the same address, which doesn't make a helluva lotta business sense. [sarcasm]

Shared warehousing and distribution systems aren't as rare as some on here seem to think.

The one thing that all those companies could agree on was the high expense of rent. They all raised the funds together to just buy a place and split the costs. They all share employees too because of the new agreement in terms of training etc. This is all true. I found it on Wikipedia and other like places on the the other internets

If Puffnstuff is right, who handles the retail, walk-in trade in the retail store? Just wondering. 🇨🇮

Seem to agree on most cigar brands to keep in stock.
