Anyone had one with any age to it?

Actually tried one. Not sure on age. A LOT better cigars out there for the price. That being said I like to try as many types of cigars as I can, even dog rockets. Buy one or two, smoke one rott and let the other rest 4-6 months then revisit the cigar. Hope this helps.

Even at $7-8? I have some but haven't smoked em. From reviews that was about the pp for us consumers. I had only read up to 4 mths or so

I've really liked every Ave Maria I have smoked. I had Recon a couple weeks ago that had prolly been sitting for about 2yrs, it was very smooth.

Well they sounded mostly positive. A few sounded flat like they were concerned it may have been one of theirs or something. I think I'll dunk these to the bottom of the cooler for a year and give it a shot and see where they are. I've taken a plunge at them to secure a bunch for rest.

I've had em rott, close to rott, and rested.

It's a good, not great..................$3-$4 cigar............

Good cigar, but not worth 20 bucks by any stretch. I enjoy the originals quite a bit and got a nice deal on them here last month.

Yeah, it sounded right in my ball park for flavor, size, and what I've been leaning towards as for body and wrapper as well. I'll give one a shot this week and see where it's at. There's a couple months on it.

I really like the regular Ave Maria line for the first half of the day gars, and I was thinking about trying the Reconquista as I am a big fan of the maduros. After reading your guys' reply's I'm kinda glad I didn't plunk down the dough for them.

ROTT I'm glad everyone has there own tastes or else I probably would've had to pay more to try these. Impressively solid stick that makes it all the more surprising that the draw is so clean. Smoke output is just right for my likings. And without making this a formal review, it tastes great with a long finish. I've only just started with this smoke and probably have a couple hours to really make up my mind. But I'm glad I came in at it with a lowered expectation from other posters because this is nice. I'm glad too because I now have officially confiscated more of these than any other cigar I have. Except probably the Bugatti maduro
