Today I realized that I hadn't heard from my mom and dad for over a week. We usually communicate via Yahoo Messenger. My dad is 82 and my mom is 80.
So, today I called 'home' and my mom answered. I said, "Hey, what's up back over there?"
She said that they just got back from a road trip from Texas to Missouri and South Dakota to visit my nephew and some of their friends. My dad did most of the driving and my mom said she drove the last 100 miles. She said... man, I was tired when we got home.
