Tonight I brought along an Illusione Epernay. It's about 6.25 x 52 or so. I hope it works out ok. The wrapper is coming apart between the band and the head. It's very thin and flimsy. The cap, though, looks to be intact, so if I'm carefull cutting.. it might be ok.

Not to worry.. I also brought along a Camacho Coyolar Puro Titan, one of my favorite cigars, and a Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial. That box is getting low.

I'll be chasing these down with some Kona Big Wave tonight. Looked out earlier and it was fairly clear and lots of stars.

So, I get to the Vets Hall and light up the Epernay. The head was very flaky, but I smoked it anyway. It was coming apart and I was spitting out pieces of tobacco like crazy... but it still had a good draw and good smoke output and tasted very good. After I took off the band it just started coming apart, so I had to end it. Fortunately, this was just one of a five pack... with no cello and in a zip lock bag. The others seem to be still intact.

After that I lit up the Camacho Coyolar Puro Titan. My box of those is almost down to a half box. The box is buried a bit in My Verona, so I only get to it occasionally. But... as usual, it did not disappoint. It smoked easy, lot of smoke, great flavor and it was giving me quite the buzz! Too bad these are no longer available!

I finished that up and lit up the Tatuaje. It was much milder than the Camacho, but it also did not disappoint. Great smoke!

The stars were out for a while, but then it got very overcast and some wind and rain came through. There was some interesting stuff going on at the airfield... but I can't say what... since I'd hafta kill ya later... ;-)
