I finally got my first order in from the site...and the cigars are terribly dry. Peeling, flakey wrappers, almost feel completely separated from the filler. Anything I can do about this from the site, or just suck it up and revive them?

Revive or ship back. Contact CS. The folks here aren't going to tell you to suck it up

Now suck it up

I have been dealing with CI and C-bid for years and I frankly don't believe that they would ever ship out cigars in this condition. A number of their competitors, particularly one based in Florida whose name I canot reveal because of the rules (but there is an automatic rifle that was made, with the same name. Al Capone used it a lot) who regularly ship out cigars in this condition. Having said that, your best bet would be to send them back for a refund or exchange. If you don't want to do this, a few weeks in the humidor might solve your problem. However, some cigars are so far gone, they may not be revived in this fashion. If this fails, toss them in the trash. 🐓

What was odd was the single stick was alright, but the 5-er is kid of a mess. I've contacted cs and waiting to hear back. I appreciate the help.

Another problem I am having with this order, these RP's look far too light for a Sumatra wrapper... could this be from them being that dry? Or am I missing something? They just don't look at all like they should.

Sumatra (or the majority of leaf for that matter) can be varying in color. I wouldn't worry too much about the color. There is a reason a step in the packaging process at factories is color sorting/consolidation so most of any one box will have similar shades.

Gotcha, thank you. I did not know that, learn something new everyday! In any case, CS was happy to send me a new 5-er and the Pad 64 has already somewhat bounced back.

I’ve received last two orders… very dry! Shipping back is an option… customers shouldn’t have to! Send fresh proct out first time! This is why it maybe best to buy locally.
