Was going to throw a bid on a box of Room 101 Darumas when I realized it wasn't the same, the listing was Daruma Gold. So I looked it up, appears to be a different line under the same name.

Anyone had em? Similar to the OR?

I really like the Darumas and was searching for a box when I saw the golds.

Have not had either one, but have gone thru several 5. Packs of the Room101 San Andres, love them

From what ive heard, uts an atypical San Andres wrapper. Not sure if its the same as what's on the other 101s though.

I'd like to grab one or two if they show up on here, but it seems its significantly different from the OR.

Darumas are awesome. Gold, not so much. BUT....I am part of a small minority that dislikes SA wrappers. I realize they are generally well liked, so, it might be a hit with many. Same solid construction and rich core favors.....but the SA ruins it for me.

I've only seen boxes listed, so if anyone with a box of Daruma Golds wants to share one or two for evaluation, I'm willing to compensate.

had the 7"s48 Daruma Gold. A smokeable, very average, medium tasting smoke. Similar to a bland, hardly worth two bucks flavor wise Padron.👎

Well, just smoked the last Daruma silver in my humidors. Such a great cigar. Smooth, rich and creamy with a complex spice on retrohale with no peppery bite. Wish I had found them sooner while they were readily available.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Room 101 Cigars!! The Daruma Gold took me by surprise. The corona sized vittola had a Connecticut wrapper. It was a full bodied cigar for it's size & colour of the oatmeal brown wrapper was flawless. Lovely notes of ginger, citrus, & leather & pepper. Spicy finish. 89/100

I thought the Gold had a San Andres wrapper? The ones I tried, certainly did.

Haven't tried em but SA and the big payback are great. The payback has been a go to lately with the consistency and price and Nicaraguan puro just hard to pass up as a tack on smoke for the day. A touch up here and there is pretty inevitable but nothing major
