I've never smoked one of these because the price scares me off. If any of you have smoked them, how do they compare say, to a Padron or Oliva? And, do you think they are worth the price? 🇨🇮

Only smoked a couple of low end ones and found them to be unremarkable. Lost interest in further and more expensive investigations.

Davidoff's have always been on the mild side (even the Cuban ones). The exception was the original release of the Double "R". As I recall this was a puro (all the tobacco used was from the same country - Dominican Republic in this case). This was the last Davidoff that I thought was good (still not worth the price). If mild cigars are your thing there are better less expensive alternatives. YMMV

Two words....Colorado Claro! Maybe the best cigar on the market. JMHO...

The Millennium series are a very good med+ smoke but just not worth the coin IMO.

Really enjoyed the millennium. Bought the sampler box long ago, but haven't been back. Liked the Puro d'oro enough to splurge on a box of coronas.

Picked up two of the Nicaraguans but haven't smoked them yet. I've heard very good things from others that have similar taste preferences

I have many friends who swear by them, but I have tried the millennium both straight out of the box and with a few years of resting and another style long forgotten and I wasn't all that impressed. they couldn't have survived this long with out doing something very right, I just haven't found one from them that I enjoy.

I know people that swear by them as well. One thing they have in common is their report on consistency and perfect draw and burn. However, if the consistency is overpriced decent sticks there seems to be a problem. I'm excited to try my Nicaraguans. I picked up the robustos for just over $10 and if they are great then maybe they can compete with a Padron. I so badly want someone able to compete because I am forced to reach deep when I want that profile and consistency.

^^^ deeper then $10 a lot of PAM 64s can be had in that range.
