Well... that La Suelo was a major disappointment. Being a torpedo shape, I cut it 3 times with my Perfect Cutter. And the pre-light draw was good. But... after lighting it up, the draw was very tight and little smoke. It was very firm under the label so I was squishing around on it to loosen it up. At that point there were no hard spots, but it just didn't smoke easy or produce much smoke. And it burned wonky. After a few minutes I ashed it and the cherry was about an inch long! I thought, well, maybe if I flick that off it will smoke better. I tried that, but it didn't flake off. As a matter of fact, I tried to break it off on the stainless steel bar out behind the Vets Hall, but the cherry was so hard I could've pounded nails with it! Thumbs down. I hope it was just that 'stick'.

Then I fired up that LHC Oscuro Fuerte. My faith in cigars was restored. It smoked easy, produced a lot of smoke and had great taste. It went on for about an hour and a half.

After that I fired up the CLE Corojo. It also performed as expected. It was very good... but I think I prefer the 11/18 vitola more. This one was like a toro, as I recall.
