For the 1st time since 1966, Coach Bobby Dodd's last year, GA Tech & UGA finished in the Top 10 together. Being ranked ahead of UGA in the final poll makes it all that much sweeter. Great season. Great game last night.

I guess by putting TCU ahead of Alabama, the AP is saying that we should disregard the official playoff rankers. Before last weekend AP had Alabama no. 1. Not sure how you can say they're below TCU simply because they lost to Ohio State by a touchdown.

I don't think Oregon would beat Alabama. There will never be a system that really answers these questions. Going to an 8 team playoff seems inevitable (follow the money), maybe 16. The Bucks are loaded and young. Repeat?

To be fair, tcu dropped 3 spots without losing when they decided the playoff rankings.

I guess now people will stop saying the Big 10,11,12... is not any good. Two teams in the top 5 is looking quite nice.

I think Alabama was too highly ranked in this poll they simply had an average defense. Michigan State probably should have been 4th and Tech 7th..I don't think Georgia is a top 10 team though maybe 15th..
