i been rummaging through misc auction sites and i am confused.

if i were going to buy 25 super duper cigars at $20.00 each that would be $500.00.

why would i bid over $1,000. for a box to hold them?

Why do we buy food when we could just grow/raise our own?

If that's the asking price, I'm guessing the person offering the merchandise knows full well what they're doing ... same way the spammers make money off ludicrous offers in their bulletins we all receive too many of .... they're figuring that there are enough dumb-bells out there that SOMEone wil pay the price and they'll make money ...

If that's a bid price, the dumb-bell has stepped forward ..

Rick, You will love these. These are two computer games. Everquest and Diablo 2. Go to ebay and search for one of those names. You will find people buying items from those games for real money. In other words; people pay real money for computer generated swords, bows armor, etc that are used only in the games.

At least you get a real box that you can touch and see at the auctions you are looking at.
