These are nice salty gumbo crabs. I caught them in the marches of south Louisiana. I have way more than I can cook.

Thanks

Dunno, I'll have to try it. There is a certain richness to their taste. Prolly need something robust afterwards.

For the most part, folks form Louisiana are like that. We would be embarrassed to treat a guest any other way. I'm sure you guys enjoyed a spectacular meal. Much emphasis is placed on a meal as a centerpiece of a great time.

Oh, and BTW Charlie, you're a great guy. But, I have to admit it's hard not to swing at all the home run pitches you toss over the plate.

I wish I would have known when you were in Baton Rouge, I would have loved to have met up with you.

I leave myself open alot as you say though I generally just trying to have fun. It's like everything else to me just take nothing personal..I totally agree with the baton rouge deal as we had about 4 + days in limbo so to speak.....waiting on a decision..so I was getting 4bills a day for nothing basically. So we took off to new Orleans ,my daughter wanted to see and then to find Shelby.I really like it there...Were Shelby lives ,approximately one hr. North of Baton Rouge,we have talked alot of moving there...but my family in va...Hard to justify at this point....Yes everyone I met in la.was great to deal with.....Anyways have a good one

Shelby lives over near Bedico Creek which is near Madisonville and due East of Baton Rouge off Interstate 12.

Blue Crabs actually migrate from the Gulf of Mexico into the Chandeleur Sound easteard towards Lake Borgne and The Rigolets passing through Lake Ponchatrain northward to the Tangipahoa River and ending up in Bedico Creek.

I pulled you back this time, but you need to stay on topic Charlie.
