How big a humidor do you have? I have 3000ct tower. I use about a 1/2 pound of heartfelt beads and 3 pounds of kitty litter (suck it cacman, j/k).

The heartfelt beads are in a Tupperware container with holes cut in the lid. It's on one shelf. On the other three shelves I have about a pound of kitty litter in an unused pantyhose leg with a knot tied on the end. I keep a Drymistat tube in each drawer.

I have 4 digital hydrometer/thermometers, one on each shelf. I also have 2 Oust fans. The humidity on all four shelves stay within 1 percent rh of each other. The entire cabinet has never fluctuated outside of 67-69 percent since it stabilized.

The Oasis Excel humidifier. I got it November 29, and have not added any water since. I keep it at 70%. Works like a charm

Oasis is a mold farm waiting to happen.

Remove the foam and replace with HF beads.

Or if you are smart, just get a oust fan and beads and save $$$.

I read that as...

On the other three shelves I have about a pound of kitty litter in a used pantyhose leg with a knot tied on the end.
