Give them a week or two of rest. With the temps and RH in your spot on the sea, the thin wrapper should not be a problem. IMHO, this cigar is the sweet spot between the MF connie (disappointing to me) and the regular line, which are great.

I did some googling and dont see them for sale at my usual sources. Whats the deal on these?

Still working with the retailer for refund or replacement. Never had any DPG cigar that split like these.

I hope they send you replacements, DED. Multiple splits in one batch indicates a problem. I've smoked two, and had no issues. Burned straight, stayed lit, held ash, open draw with just enough tightness. Very good cigars.

Got a replacement package today with a full box of the toro vitolas along with a letter of apology thanking me for bringing this to their attention and they included a complimentary Regius Exclusico USA Toro Extra.

They state they have taken steps to ensure this batch will not crack but did not say what those steps were. We will see but I'm happy with their CS on this one. =d>

Just smoked one of these tonight. It was very good!

I had no issue whatsoever with the wrapper. And it's been very rainy and windy out here. Tonight was less hectic than last night, but the humidity is still 88% outside!
